Bollywood celebrity Donation in the PM Relief fund for CORONA

The covid-19 pandemic created the worst situation in the whole world. This pandemic virus has locked the whole world in rooms. 

Indian prime minister Narendra Modi has asked for help from India, in a result of this Bollywood celebrities as well as tv actors and actresses contributed generously to Prime Minister Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situation ( PM CARES).


Moreover, there’s a shortage of basic medical equipment including masks, sanitisers and hazmat suits these equipment will help doctors to be safe from the corona virus.

Bollywood celebrities are also playing front line soldiers in this war against coronavirus by donating to PM Relief Fund.
We have mentioned some big names of Bollywood actors and actresses who donated for this holy cause.


Akshay Kumar Fund for Corona

Akshay Kumar - RS. 25 crore
The biggest contribution from action Kumar proves that he is not only a Bollywood hero but a real-life hero too. Actor Akshay Kumar donated a huge amount of 25 crores to PM cares fund.



Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali khan

This beautiful couple has donated to PM cares as well as in Maharashtra Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
Talking to the media Kareena Kapoor said "We extend our support to the PM-CARES and Chief Minister's Fund. In these tough times, every rupee and every helping hand matters. Do help wherever possible,"



Shahrukh Khan donation for corona

Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh khan has donated an undisclosed amount to PM cares Fund and also announced that his IPL franchise will also contribute to this holy task. 

Shahrukh khan's Red chilli entertainment has also contributed to provincial Maharashtra CM's Relief Fund. 


Also, the NGO Meer Foundation will contribute 50,000 PPE kits to West Bengal.
The Badshah of Bollywood also announced that his NGO Meer Foundation will provide support to 100 acid attack victims in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and Uttarakhand




Deepika Padukone Ranveer Singh Corona Fund

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have also contributed an undisclosed amount to the PM care fund.



Kangana Ranaut - Rs 25 lakhs


Veteran Bollywood singer Lata Mangeshkar has donated Rs 25 lakh to the Chief Minister's Assistance Fund.



Whether in cash or kind, more and more personalities from Bollywood. Sara Ali Khan has also added an undisclosed amount to PM cares fund also in the CM Maharashtra fund.



Actress Madhuri Dixit and Dr Shriram Nene her husband have pledged to donate to the PM CARES Fund and CM's Relief Fund to fight the coronavirus.



Priyanka Chopra & Nick Jonas
Citing some NGO's Priyanka Chopra and her husband donated undisclosed amounts in PM-CARES, UNICEF, SAG-AFTRA, Goonj, Doctors Without Borders and No Kid Hungry.



Nana Patekar
He donated Rs 50 lakh to the PM CARES fund to support India's fight against Covid-19 along with a video message on Twitter.



Vicki Kaushal donated Rs 1 crore in PM-CARES and Maharashtra Chief Minister's Relief Fund.



Kartik Aaryan
Bollywood actor wrote on Twitter that my all earned money belongs to Indian people so I'm contributing RS 1 crore in corona relief fund.



Salman khan
Salman's Being Human Foundation is also helping daily wage workers. (FWICE). He is supporting around 25 thousand workers of the Bollywood industry.



Alia Bhatt
Using her Twitter handle, she writes "At a time of great difficulty, while the nation is in lockdown, the central and state governments are working tirelessly to combat Covid-19". She donated some amount to PM cares fund and in CM relief fund.



Katrina Kaif
She donated an undisclosed amount to PM CARES Fund and Maharashtra Chief Minister's Relief Fund to fight against pandemic coronavirus.



Sonam Kapoor
Sonam Kapoor, too, donated an undisclosed amount.



Diljit Dosanjh donated 20 lakh.



Rapper Badshah
Indian singer and rapper Badshah donated 25 lakh to PM Relief Fund.



Rajkummar Rao
This young Bollywood actor donated some amount to PM cares Fund, Zomato Feeding India and also to CM's Relief Fund.

Cricketer Rohit Sharma - Rs 80 lakhs.



Varun Dhawan
Handsome Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has pledged Rs 30 lakh as a donation to PM-CARES Fund and Rs 25 lakh to Maharashtra CM's relief fund.



Kriti Sanon and Bhumi Pednekar have also added their contribution to Fund.



Shilpa Shetty also donated Rs 21 lakhs to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's PM-CARES Fund.
